Hey Cambridge, it’s time to wake up!
Did you know that tomorrow is the last day of school? Wow it’s been a fast year!
The library monitor today is Alexis.
Parents – here’s what else you’ll want to know -
Safe & Active Schools Update – the City of Surrey was at school this morning to do a presentation for our Grade 7 students on the information they helped collect during the school year for this fabulous project (remember the parent surveys, the walk to school days, the hands-up surveys in class, etc). The City will be back again in September to do a presentation for the new Grade 7 students who will work with our VP and Special Projects gal Tammy to continue the program.
Year End Slide Show for Parents – just a reminder that you’re invited to join us in the gym at 12:30 on Thursday to watch the Year End Slide show! We’ll have the DVD request form and donation jar available as well. We request a minimum $5 donation if you’d like a copy. Thanks to all the parents that have already emailed to reserve a copy and sent their donations to the office. Much appreciated!
Lesson from the past – Throw a couple BAGS in your child(ren)’s backpack tomorrow morning - Although some work has been coming home each day, EVERYTHING that’s left in their desks and in the classroom comes home tomorrow! The teachers do their best to help make it fit in envelopes and backpacks but having a couple plastic bags (or a re-usable shopping bag) works like a charm to ensure everything makes it on the walk home!!!
Lost and Found – It’s well worth a trip through the hall by the Kindergarten classrooms to see just what’s been lost and if you need to find it again! Everything gets donated on Friday! Which means…
HELP WANTED – yep, someone needs to put all those glorious lost and find items into bags so they’re ready to donate! If you could be that person – drop us an email at cambridgepacyac@shaw.ca It ain’t glamourous but it’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside for doing a good deed!
Thanks Cambridge ! Have an O-mazing day!
