WOW – the donations we received from families for our Cambridge Cares Christmas Campaign was AMAZING!!! Huge thanks to everyone who donated something to our campaign.
Not only were we able to create 4 incredibly generous hampers for our sponsor families, we’ll be donating about 15 boxes of food to the Surrey Food Bank, 5 boxes of new toys to the Christmas Bureau, and loads and loads of used clothes to the Clothing on Wheels program!
Huge thanks to super volunteers Sergio, Rita and Gunter for helping the Grade 6′s on Friday as they sorted the donations, packaged everything and helped wrap gifts!
Huge thanks to super volunteers Cheryl and Jermaine for their help shopping for new winter coats, boots and runner to complete the wish lists for all the sponsor families. They picked up grocery store gift cards that the families will use for their perishable dinner items as well!
Huge thanks to local dentist, Dr. San Bhatha, for his generous donation of $250 towards our campaign! (huge thanks to Danielle and Jeff for taking the Cambridge Cares flyer with them to the dentist that day!!!)
Another huge thanks to super volunteers Sergio & Rita for their help with the deliveries to KB Woodward Elementary this morning. And huge thanks to Ken, for jumping in to help us load the vehicles.
